[Green World Ecological Farm] provides "LOHAS‧Bok Choy Seeds" as part of its field trip (September-November 2015)
(I) Green World's off-campus teaching activity: Giving away "LOHAS Little Cabbage Seed Packs"
[Event Period]: September 1, 2015 to November 30, 2015
[Target Audience]: Teachers and students of junior high schools (and below) participating in after-school programs.
[Activity Details]: During the event period, teachers and students from schools will participate in field trips at Green World.
Each person can go to (7) Visitor Service Center with their same-day ticket stub (ticket required).
Redeem one "LOHAS Baby Bok Choy Seed Pack" for free.

(II) Care Instructions for Bok Choy (also known as Taiwanese Cabbage)
1. Sowing: Sow the seeds evenly on the soil, then cover with a thin layer of soil (about 0.5 cm). Do not wash away the seeds when watering.
2. Thinning: About a week after sprouting, some of the weaker plants can be removed, leaving the strong ones to continue growing.
3. Fertilizing: About 10 days after planting, fertilizer can be applied appropriately depending on the growth status.
4. Harvesting: Bok choy has a short growing period, generally about 25 to 30 days before harvesting.
(III) Introduction to Green World Park

The newly established "Alpaca House" allows children to observe a family of alpacas from New Zealand foraging and rolling around up close.
Their adorable appearance. The newly opened "Bald Cypress Dream Trail" in the summer of 2015 allows children to see even more.
Explore the amazing natural landscape of underwater forests and learn about the habitat and growth characteristics of various aquatic plants and animals .
Green World is committed to ecological conservation and has won the "No. 1 in Excellent Farm Experience Evaluation" multiple times, preserving the natural and pristine environment within the park.
Forests and beautiful lakes; the entire park utilizes energy-saving and carbon-reducing green buildings, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer without the need for air conditioning; ecological construction methods utilize rainwater...
It can be reused repeatedly, and the park has also restored many endangered species endemic to Taiwan, such as: Taiwan water lily and Taiwan reevesiana.
Many scholars from home and abroad have visited this garden to observe and learn.
Green World boasts many world records: the world's largest -beaked toucan , and the world's most intelligent bird capable of mathematical calculations.
The macaw , the world's largest freshwater fish , the elephant fish , the world's largest seed , the sea coconut, and so on.
Many programs such as: Sanlih TV's "Watching Taiwan with Heart", GTV's "Close-up", MOMO's "Little Players", etc., and many others.
Many popular TV dramas have filmed or interviewed at our park. We welcome children to spend a wonderful and educational time with us at Green World.
