Animal shows are a popular way to attract visitors; watching animals perform naturally often brings laughter and relaxation. In Japan, public and private zoos and amusement parks frequently present animal shows, and when a new animal masters a skill or trick, it often becomes a media focus. The macaws at Beipu Green World Ecological Farm in Hsinchu County are intelligent and lively, playing games and being playful. They excel at everything from math and puzzles to pushing excavators, riding scooters, shooting hoops, and ring toss. Most impressively, they can even paint abstract paintings, just like Picasso. The macaw show at Green World attracts many children to watch on weekends. The macaws kept at Beipu Green World are native to the Amazon rainforest in Central and South America. They can generally live to be over seventy years old. Their intelligence is equivalent to that of a three- to five-year-old human child, and with a little training, they can perform many wonderful shows.
