Green World's baby sloth turns one in the ROC centennial year (2011)

As the nation celebrates its 100th anniversary, joy and celebration are taking place throughout Taiwan.

At the Green World Ecological Farm in Hsinchu, the adorable two-toed sloth baby has turned one year old!

A year ago, when the baby sloth was born, it was tiny and black.

They love to snuggle up to their mother sloth and rest. The mother sloth likes to hang upside down in the nursery.

The baby sloth spends the whole day clinging to its mother.

A few months ago, Green World separated the baby sloth from its mother so that it could learn to live independently.

At first, the baby sloth couldn't find anyone to lean on and would cry loudly in the nursery looking for its mother.

Now, on this joyous occasion of its first birthday , the baby sloth is able to eat and sleep on its own.

They can take care of themselves now!

Therefore, Green World decided to hold a birthday party for Baby Sloth on January 10th.

Celebrating the baby sloth's first birthday, no longer a child needing its mother's care.

They even specially ordered a sloth cake and invited friends like turtles and pythons to celebrate his birthday.

It attracted interviews from media reporters.
