Eight adorable emus welcome the New Year!

Eight adorable emus have joined the Swan Lake at Green World to welcome the New Year!

The emu, also known as the Australian ostrich, is found in Australia and is the largest living bird besides the ostrich. It stands about 2 meters tall and weighs about 60 kilograms. Although it cannot fly, it can run at speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Their diet includes fruits, insects, and grains. Emu eggs are green with thick shells and can weigh up to 1 kilogram.

After the female emu lays her eggs, the male emu will incubate them.

Emus are shy animals; they run away as soon as they see people. They get their name from their call, which sounds like "Emu."
