9/11: the world's largest snake, an anaconda, gives birth to 21 babies!
Green World's Biodiversity Exploration Center received exciting news on 9/11 (September 11, 1996): Anaconda, the world's largest python, gave birth to 21 babies.
Anacondas can reach lengths of up to 12 meters, making them the world's largest pythons.
Native to the Amazon basin in South America, it prefers to live in waters such as rivers, lagoons and swamps in tropical rainforests.
